Lil' Eddie

A little bit further along in the process

A sculpture in progress of Eddie, Iron Maiden's monster, from the Killers album. Made with Super Sculpey. There is still a lot of work to do!

David

A thing I did for methodology.. I decided to make my project about doing a comic, and this is the character I designed for the comic. Painted in Photoshop CS5, over a photo of the original pencil drawing.

The Jones Family

Here we have my final assignment from Caracterización de personajes (character design, I guess). We were supposed to make a family with a mom, dad, grandma, a chinese adopted 5 or 6 years old girl, and a 10 years old prankster kid. Also, the family was supposed to be nice, so no spookyness or derrangement or anything... shame

Muscles

That's how I study for an art history exam..
I was watching videos from David Finch about drawing the dynamic figure, and after that I did this sketch. The muscles are probably not anatomically correct, since I'm not used to drawing such exaggerated muscles, and I didn't draw with any reference, just from memory of what I saw in Finch's videos.

Alice Cooper paper doll

Illustrations for a group project in a "pop-music" class we're taking. We decided to do Glam Metal, and make paper dolls with three famous people from Glam Metal (Alice Cooper, Nikki Sixx and Dee Snider). We gave each of them two outfits; one regular glam outfit, and one superhero outfit (as we found a common theme of many glam songs to be about somehow saving young people from the oppression of teachers and parents, to be themselves and do what they want.. Mostly inspired by Twisted Sister's videos for We're Not Gonna Take It, and I Wanna Rock)
I'll be uploading my illustration of Dee Snider soon, gotta finish his superhero outfit.

Freyja

My illustration of a "Sustainable Citizen" from a workshop we had this week in school. I gave her the name Freyja, she's an anthropology student, and a volunteer for Amnesty International.

RunningMan

Well, I did this running cycle for an animation class, but we weren't tought how to use any programs in class, so I had to experiment on my own. Toon Boom Studio 4.5 was my weapon of choice, and with tutorials in youtube I was able to pull something off.
